All people renting apartments or houses should have a renters policy, it is affordable coverage and essential to protect your personal belongings and to give you coverage if somebody is injured on the premises. The landlords policy will not cover you or your stuff. You can also add excess liability coverage, jewelry and fine art/antique cover to it.
